Tandem Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
Tandem is advertising-management software operated by Tandem Collective LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information Tandem handles, including information it receives from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), and how we use it.
Who uses Tandem
Tandem is used by advertising agencies and the businesses they work for. It is not a consumer app: members of the public do not sign in to Tandem, and Tandem does not collect information about the people who see ads.
Information we receive from Meta
When a business connects its Meta Business account to Tandem, Tandem receives, through Meta's Marketing API:
- the IDs and names of the ad accounts, Pages, pixels and Instagram accounts the business chooses to share;
- advertising performance data (for example impressions, clicks, spend and results), aggregated by campaign, ad set and ad;
- the business's campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives and their settings;
- targeting options Meta offers (interest and location names and their IDs);
- an access token that lets Tandem act on the shared assets.
Tandem does not receive, and does not ask for, the personal information of people who see or interact with ads.
How we use it
We use this information only to provide Tandem's service to the business that connected it:
- reporting on its advertising performance;
- creating ads, campaigns and ad sets it asks Tandem to create (always created paused);
- previewing ads and checking targeting before anything is sent.
We do not sell this information, use it for our own advertising, or share it with anyone other than the business and the agency it works with, except where the law requires.
How we protect it
Access tokens are stored encrypted, and only the component that talks to Meta can open them. Access to each business's data is limited to the agency and the people that business has authorised.
Information about Tandem's own users
For people who sign in to Tandem (agency staff and their clients), we keep their name, email address, sign-in records and the actions they take in Tandem, to run accounts and keep an audit trail.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep information for as long as the business uses Tandem. A business can disconnect Meta at any time in Tandem, or by removing Tandem's access in its Meta Business settings. To have the information Tandem holds about you or your business deleted, see https://tandemcollectivellc.com/data-deletion or email justin@tandemcollectivellc.com. We delete it within 30 days of a verified request.
Our website
This website, tandemcollectivellc.com, uses the Meta Pixel. When you visit, it lets Meta collect information such as the pages you view, whether you click to request a demo, your IP address and browser details, and it may set cookies. We use this to measure visits to the site and the results of our own ads, and Meta uses it as described in Meta's Privacy Policy. This applies to the website only, not to Tandem's service.
You can limit this by changing your Meta ad preferences, blocking third-party cookies in your browser, or opting out through the Digital Advertising Alliance.
Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes on this page and update the date above. For significant changes, we'll also tell account holders by email before they take effect.
